Wayne Automation Corporation, a Philadelphia, PA designer and builder of machinery for the packaging industry, is looking for self motivated, hands-on Mechanical Engineers to join its operation in Norristown, PA. Since 1975, Wayne Automation has been serving the food, beverage and consumer products industries by providing reliable, efficient, high speed packaging equipment and systems to meet a broad range of customer requirements. Beginning with the modification and improvement of existing equipment to the conceptualization and completion of new equipment to meet ever changing industry requirements, the chosen individuals will be involved in the development of machine elements and assemblies utilizing some of the latest technologies in electronics, pneumatics, mechanical linkages and power transmission components combined with multi-axis pick & place and servo motor operated mechanisms.

Qualified candidates should be experienced in AutoCAD and SolidWorks drafting systems and the use of an MRP system in conjunction with engineering and be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be available to start immediately.
