About Wayne Automation: Our Story
Wayne Automation Corporation––a privately held corporation––began building innovative, high-quality packaging automation machinery in 1976. The company’s principles are rooted in the design and manufacturing of paper-converting machinery. Recognizing the trends of the packaging industry at the time, the company began building automated packaging machines for the assembly and insertion of partitions along with automatic case erectors and tray formers.
Due to the rugged construction and reliable performance of Wayne Automation equipment, our packaging systems became a popular choice in the glass and plastic container industry where 24/7 operation demanded our caliber of equipment. Wayne began designing and building packaging solutions for companies in the following industries:
- Food and Beverage
- Chemical and Petroleum
- Household/Personal Care Products
Throughout this outgrowth, Wayne’s packaging automation technology became some of the most innovative in the industry––a creativity that continues to this day. We offer the highest speeds in case erecting and remain the premier supplier of partition handling equipment, offering capabilities beyond any other machinery on the market. We have further accelerated this technology by offering case and tray packing systems that incorporate the insertion of partitions around containers positioned on the wraparound, case, or tray. And our tray formers accommodate more tray styles than any other manufacturer.

Wayne Automation Corporation is located outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, approximately three miles from the historic Valley Forge Park. The facility is an easy 40-minute commute from the Philadelphia International Airport.

Jeff Hoffpauer—Northeast Region, Midwest Region and Eastern Canada
Jeff joined Wayne Automation in the fall of 2018. For the past 16 years, he has worked in the sign and digital graphics industry as a Regional Manager in both the U.S. and Canada, specializing in printable films and substrates. Jeff resides with his wife in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Ben Goodman—Southeast Region, Western Region and Western Canada
Ben joined Wayne Automation in the spring of 2018 with an extensive background in industrial packaging and automation solutions. In his current role, Ben is focused on capital equipment sales targeting producers of glass & plastic containers, food & beverage, consumer packaged goods and chemicals/petrochemicals. He resides with his family in North Georgia.
