The RPS Family of Case Sealers are designed for rugged performance in keeping with the production requirements of today's packaging lines. The RPS Case Sealers accept cases entering randomly and feature a high-friction pacing conveyor for positive transport and case separation, even with the lightest of packages. On the higher speed models, a servo drive flap tucker system optimizes the space between cases facilitating high-volume throughput with fixed or variable speed conveying.

Operational Highlights

  • Accepts Back to Back Case Infeed

  • Accepts Tall Unstable, or Light Weight Cases

  • Power major Flap Fold Assembly folds major flaps outward to ensure that minor flaps can be plowed and tucked without interference.  A huge advantage when running light weight or poorly scored cases.

  • Optional Sequential folding for full overlap flaps

  • Optional Pneumatic Flap Breaker for use on double wall cases

  • (Glue) Apply glue to either the major or minor flaps, depending on the customer's application.

  • (Glue) Floating compression compensates for variations that occur in the manufacturing process.

  • (Tape) 2 or 3 inch Tape Applicators Available

  • (Tape) Infeed Case Escapement allows customer to present cases to the top sealer randomly or in a back to back fashion eliminating the need to create case separation upstream.

 

RPS Top Sealers are backed by Wayne's performance guarantee to operate with less then 1/8 of 1% material loss and efficiencies of 99% or better.

The RPS-60/80 case sealers can top seal cases at speeds up to 80 cpm and is the perfect companion to Wayne's VCE High Speed Case Erectors.
